Landing page design with one job and no distractions.
A website answers every question a visitor might have. A landing page answers one, then asks for the enquiry. That difference is why sending paid traffic to your homepage wastes money, and why a high converting landing page usually earns more than the ad budget behind it.

Five parts, in this order. Landing page design is mostly a discipline of removal, because everything you add is another reason for someone to hesitate.
One promise, above the fold
What it is, who it is for, and what it costs, in a line someone reads in three seconds without scrolling.
Proof, immediately
A number, a guarantee, a registration, a client count. Something checkable before they have to trust you.
One argument
Every section supports the same offer. A page selling three things sells none of them properly.
A form that asks for little
Name and number is usually enough. Every extra field measurably reduces the number of people who finish.
Nothing else to click
No menu, no footer links, no blog. Either they enquire or they leave, and that is the point.
The same five elements on every landing page we build.
Landing page or full website?
They do different jobs and cost different money. Buying the wrong one is the most common mistake we see, usually because an agency sold a full site to somebody who needed one page.
| What you are doing | Landing page | Full website |
|---|---|---|
| Running Google or Meta ads | Yes | Wastes budget |
| Selling one specific service or offer | Yes | Too broad |
| Testing whether a market exists | Yes | Too slow |
| Building organic search rankings | Limited | Yes |
| Showing a full range of services | No | Yes |
| Publishing content over time | No | Yes |
| Live in about a week | Yes | Two to four weeks |
| Lowest cost to start | R4,500 | From R7,500 |
A landing page is often the honest answer when the budget is tight and the goal is enquiries this month. If you need to be found on Google over time, start at website design packages instead. Plenty of clients do both, with the site earning organic traffic and separate landing pages carrying the paid campaigns.
What businesses use landing page design for
Six situations where a single page beats a whole website, every time.
Google Ads campaigns
Sending paid clicks to a homepage is the fastest way to burn budget. A matching landing page raises Quality Score and lowers what each enquiry costs you.
One service, sold hard
You do eight things but one of them makes the money. A dedicated page can say so without the other seven getting in the way.
Proving demand before you build
Before committing to a full site or a new service line, one page and a small ad budget tells you in a fortnight whether anyone wants it.
A specific town or suburb
One page per service area, written for that area, so somebody searching in Centurion does not land on a page about Cape Town.
Promotions and launches
A seasonal special, a product launch or an event that needs its own page and disappears afterwards without disturbing the main site.
Lead magnets and downloads
A guide, price list or quote calculator behind a two-field form, building a list you can market to for years.
What landing page design services cost in South Africa
Fixed prices, quoted in writing. A landing page designer South Africa side will typically quote between R2,000 and R15,000 depending on whether copy, tracking and testing are included. Ours include all three.
Single landing page
One page, mobile-first, copy written around your offer, enquiry form to your inbox, analytics and conversion tracking installed. Live in about a week.
Campaign set
Three landing pages for three offers or three service areas, sharing a design, each with its own copy and tracking. The usual choice alongside a Google Ads campaign.
Page plus assistant
A landing page with an AI assistant installed, so enquiries that arrive after hours get answered and qualified instead of waiting until morning.
Hosting and maintenance runs from R1,250 a month, or your landing page can sit on an existing care plan at no extra cost. Full pricing on website design packages.
Landing page design questions
How much does landing page design cost in South Africa?
Ours is R4,500 for a single page, R11,500 for a set of three, and R9,000 for a page with an AI assistant installed. A landing page designer South Africa wide will quote anywhere from R2,000 to R15,000. The gap is almost always whether the copy, the conversion tracking and the mobile work are included or billed later.
What makes a high converting landing page?
One offer, proof near the top, a short form and nothing else to click. Most pages fail because they try to say everything, keep the site menu at the top so people wander off, or ask for eight fields when two would do. Removing things reliably outperforms adding them.
Can I send Google Ads traffic to my homepage instead?
You can, and it will cost you more per enquiry. A homepage answers many questions and asks for nothing specific, so paid visitors browse and leave. Google also scores the match between your ad and your page, which it explains in its own landing page experience guidance, so a dedicated page usually lowers your cost per click as well as improving conversion.
How long does a landing page take to build?
About a week once we have your offer, your proof points and any images. Campaign sets of three take roughly two weeks. It is the fastest thing we build, which is why it suits testing a new service or getting a campaign live quickly.
Do I need a website before I can have a landing page?
No. A landing page works on its own domain or as a page on an existing site. Plenty of businesses start with one page, prove the demand, then invest in a full site once they know the offer works.
Will you write the copy?
Yes, included. We interview you for about twenty minutes about the offer, the objections you hear most and what makes people say yes, then write from that. Landing page copy is most of the work, so handing you a blank template would be pointless.
Can you track whether it is working?
Conversion tracking and analytics go on every page we build, set up against Google Analytics conversion events, so you can see how many people landed, how many enquired and what each enquiry cost. Without that you are guessing, and guessing with an ad budget running is expensive.
How many landing pages should I have?
One per offer, and one per major service area if you advertise locally. A page trying to sell three things converts worse than three pages each selling one, which is why the campaign set of three exists at R11,500.
Should the landing page be on my main domain?
Usually yes, as a page on your existing site, because it inherits the domain trust you already have. A separate domain only makes sense when the offer is entirely unrelated to your main business.
Can you set up the Google Ads campaign too?
We build the page and install the conversion tracking so your ads have something to optimise towards. For campaign management we work alongside your existing ads person, or point you at someone if you do not have one.
What makes a landing page fail?
Four things, in order: no clear single offer, no proof anywhere near the top, a form asking for too much, and a navigation menu letting people wander off. Almost every underperforming page has at least two of those.
Do landing pages help with SEO?
Not much on their own, and that is fine because it is not their job. They exist to convert paid and direct traffic. If you want to be found organically, that comes from the main site and SEO work rather than from a single page.
Can I test two versions?
Yes. A second variant is R2,500 and worth it once you are spending meaningfully on ads, because small changes to the headline or the form can move conversion rates more than most people expect.
What happens after someone fills in the form?
Whatever you want: an email, a WhatsApp message, an entry in your CRM, or an instant automated reply while the lead is still warm. That last one is worth setting up, because response speed decides who wins the job.
The rest of what we build
Landing page design is one part of it. Everything below is built by the same people, on the same stack, and quoted the same way. Start from website design company in South Africa for the overview.
Tell us the offer. We will build the page around it.
Send us what you are selling and who you are selling it to. You will get a fixed quote back within 24 hours, and if a landing page is not what you actually need, we will say so.
