Our rate is R850 an hour for small jobs, or a fixed project price from R7,500 for a five page build. Across the market you will find freelancers from around R250 an hour and agencies well over R1,500. The gap is usually not skill, it is whether hosting, security, speed work and someone answering the phone next year are included in the number.
Do I need a WordPress developer or a web designer?
If the site works and just looks dated, you need design. If it is slow, breaking, insecure, or needs to do something it currently cannot, you need development. Most real projects need both, which is why we do not split them into separate quotes.
Can you take over a WordPress site somebody else built?
